The Aerospace and Defense business unit is a contract manufacturer and integrator of electro-mechanical assemblies. Aerospace and Defense has a work force of over 150 skilled employees. Operating out of 120,000+ square feet of expandable capacity manufacturing space in Stilwell, OK, core business is comprised of distribution, kitting and manufacturing of:
- Cable assemblies and wire harness assemblies
- Interconnect Solutions
- Electronic racks
- Electric panels and enclosures
- Power Distribution
- Metal Fabrication
- “Build To Print” products
Drawing on its in house capabilities and a select group of pre-qualified subcontractors, the Aerospace and Defense group has a rich history of supplying products to the commercial and defense aerospace industries. Aerospace and Defense is ISO9000:2000 and AS 9100 certified. Past performance has included “Prime” and subcontracting manufacturing for the Department of Defense, Boeing, L-3, Sikorsky, Lockheed Martin and others. Cherokee’s Aerospace and Defense group has delivered product under Tribal-owned , 8(a)”SoleSource”, diversity, “Full and Open” competition, and a variety of teaming contract vehicles.
